The rapid growth of SRI in recent years is the best evidence that socially responsible investing yields competitive returns. Over the past 20 years, the total dollars invested in SRI has grown exponentially.

Between 1995 and 2010, total dollars under professional management in SRI grew from $639 billion to $3.07 trillion, outpacing the overall market. SRI investing has become part of the mainstream, and as a result, a number of conventional companies now offer SRI products to their clients.

According to SRI.org there are 16 different large cap strategies. Total large cap SRI assets $11 billion. There are nine large cap growth funds with $4.8 billion. There are only four SRI funds with $2.6 billion characterized as large cap growth by Morningstar. Date: May 2011.
