Fixed Income Balanced Strategy Overview
Objectives: The Brady Investment Counsel Fixed Income Balanced Strategy
seeks regular and predictable income with low principal volatility. Secondarily,
the strategy opportunistically seeks select capital appreciation and income growth
investments.
Strategy: Our Fixed Income Strategy invests primarily in high quality fixed income
securities, which can include but are not limited to certificates of deposit, individual
bonds, fixed income mutual funds and fixed income ETFs.
Equity securities can be added an opportunistic basis with the client's full understanding
and approval. Equities add potential long term principal and income growth.
Our Fixed income investments provide regular income and portfolio stability. The
balance between equity and fixed income depends on client investment objectives and
their risk tolerance. Equities are limited to no more than 10% of the client's portfolio
in the Fixed Income Balanced Strategy.
The Fixed Income Balanced Strategy is Appropriate for: institutions, foundations and individuals primarily seeking portfolio stability. From time-to- time our Fixed Income Strategy investors accept a limited amount of additional portfolio volatility to potentially achieve some long-term growth of principal and income. The typical Fixed Income Strategy investor is highly risk averse.
